No, you're not having a psychedelic reaction to the $5 spicy tuna roll you ate for lunch. This under-construction restaurant was spotted at 347 Graham Avenue in Williamsburg, just by the Graham Avenue subway entrance. A quick investigation revealed a few important facts: The restaurant's called Mighty Diamond, it will serve vegetarian Caribbean fare, and it's set to open in a few weeks. Jerked tofu, anyone?

Veggie jerk chicken sounds as appetizing as sushi made with dog food. Still, I might check it out...

That's exciting. That could turn out to be great. It's no match for curried goat but I'm down with some veggie patties.

This is in the old Satchmo's space. They seem committed to a hippie aesthetic that always feels a little out of step with the nabe. On the other hand, the area could use a few more takeout options.
