Buddakan Hearts Philly, Not Good for Jousting

I've only been to Philly once, so it was a pleasure to learn a little more about the city at a party thrown by the Greater Philadelphia Tourism group at Buddakan last night. Snacks included dishes like lettuce cups with beef and dumplings so juicy, they should've come with their own bib. When I wasn't hearing about Philly places like the Please Touch museum (which, I learned, has trouble getting its emails through spam filters), I was checking out the actual Buddakan space, as it was my first time there. The pictures I'd seen, including our photo in the link above, always make the giant dining room look a little like a banquet hall at Medieval Times. In person, however, it's much more refined, and doesn't look like a suitable spot to watch the black knight joust after all.
