There's something a touch ironic about Heartland Brewery launching a heart disease awareness program, but I suppose it's better than doing nothing. All through February, the chain will be serving serving a special buffalo menu, with dishes like a grilled rib-eye, pepper seared carpaccio and shepherd's pie made with bovine. Part of the proceeds will go to the American Heart Association and other heart disease prevention programs. A special Buffalo Bock has also been created for beer-fueled toasts to healthy living.
