14th Street, Meet Mr. Skewer

There's nothing wrong with opening a restaurant dedicated to skewered food. In fact, the Japanese have made quite an art of it. But it does take a certain marketing finesse, at least a little more than this forthcoming Brazilian spot on 14th Street off of 5th Avenue. While there's a good chance the food will beat the sad offerings of neighbors like Quiznos, the owners might want to rethink this sign, which looks a bit like an advertisement for heroin fixes or dental procedures.

As all the "New Restaurants" they didn't have any To Go Menus available just yet and its website is posted on its bags, but the interesting part was the website did not work at all!! =] I had ordered "Cheese Breads" and the "Golden Empanadas": Chesse Breas, were a little dried and the Golden Empanada (Chicken) tasted good, but not worthing the price actually. Overall, for a fast food restaurant, the appetizer were ok... Hopefully it wil get better!!

Just had the grilled chicken legs with sweet corn and yellow rice. Pretty good for about $7.50.
