Now Open: Bistro Milano

New midtown restaurant Bistro Milano opened quietly two weeks ago, giving the neighborhood one more Italian option. Antipasti ranges from $11 to $16, and includes choices like ahi tuna tartar with cucumber in an avocado sauce. Pizza and pastas (some house-made) are available, and entrees cost $20-$38, not too surprising considering the neighborhood. A little more surprising are the non-Italian options: an $18 burger, paella and creme brulee made with bitter chocolate chips.

Live in neighborhood - tried it Sat. eve - Very Good - great martinis, wonderful fresh, crispy salads, lovely fish. Everyone was super friendly - service very prompt. Ordered a pizza to go with drinks, the crust was soggy and they immediately comped it. Will return soon! Need a few more good ones around here. We've lost some - need more medium-priced restaurants such as Bistro Milano. Bravo!

This place is awesome! I stumbled across it one day and have since been back 5 times. Lasagna is one of the best I've everhad (homemade pasta and a creamier sauce) and the only other thing I've ordered was the salmon which was also very good. The service was wonderful & I look forward to going back.
