One of the most authentic Japanese restaurants in town, En is hosting a cooking demo and tasting this Sunday, April 6, at 4pm. Chef Yasuhiro Honma reveals the secret of Japanese cooking: You can prepare almost any dish with just six ingredients. The deal is sweetened with a sake tasting led by the president of Joto Sake and the owner of Marumoto Sake Brewery. The cost is $80 per person. To reserve call (212) 647-9196.

this place is awful. i had one of the worst, and most expensive meals ever. the place was empty (not surprised) and the retarded waiter tried to up sell everyone one in my party multiple times. the tofu was semen, the fried rice was lawn clippings, the beef was shoe leather, the pork was a used tire, and the suggest sake was rubbing alcohol that someone pissed in.

Super nice staff
Super Sake
Super menu
Super service
Super price food value

Oh well, maybe their service already changed. Who knows? But if it's not worth spending I'd rather go home and grind wow gold and play all day long.
