Project Runway: Why, Heidi, Why?

Pr3_designer_jeffrey_1_1 Oh, Project Runway, how you toy with my heart. First you get me hooked on a reality show in these darkest days of the genre (Flavor of Love 3, anyone?). Then you make my blood boil with your choice of victor. I can forgive Jeffrey for his borderline sociopathic pleasure at picking fights. I can accept that he didn't cheat in the construction of his Bryant Park collection. I can even overlook the fact that something about him reminds me of the Lollipop Guild from The Wizard of Oz. What I can't ignore are his half-baked hipster designs, some of which I'm convinced he cribbed from old Debbie Gibson videos. (Photo from BravoTV.com)

I wanted to root for Michael but after he brought out his scary jungle women, I had to turn to Jeffrey. I see the Debbie Gibson thing, but I think he took it to a happy place. I did have to agree with the judges that his blue evening dresses were kinda off. Who did you want to win?

Justin Hartung

Honestly, I had been rooting for Michael until I saw his Bryant Park collection. He definitely had been slipping in the final episodes and his collection continued that trend. Definitely was a bit tacky and Bond Girl-ish. I think Uli really pulled it out for Fashion Week, and did something a little different, while remaining true to her style. She should've won.

Surly

"Sexy. Seductive. Sensual....Stupid." This guy is clearly a total donkey (albeit a talented one), but Uli stole my heart from the very beginning. The older preggers redhead hunchback needed to go. To me, this competition should have been as much about listening and learning as it was about product. Jeffrey seems to wallow in what he already knows. He really needs to spend some time on the naughty step with super nanny.

Oh, how I pray for a celebrity death match between Omarosa (Apprentice, Season 2), New York (Flavor of Love 1 & 2) and Jeffrey. Ah, heck, why not throw Chef Ramsey in, as well.

--ah, leisure time in the new millenium.

yay for jeffrey, i liked his collection, construction wise it was the most innovative, i thought his pieces were nicely tailored and honestly, its not like Uli was put out on the street, her collection will definetly be snatched up, designers almost luck out when they don't win the competition, they have the freedom of not being owned by Bravotv, everyone on that show essentially wins, except for maybe keith and vincent.
jeffrey does finally need to propose to his girlfriend, 100 grand, propose already!

I love Michael and wanted him to win but his collection was not the best for fashion week...Uli had the better collection and should of won, not Jeffrey!!! I thought his collection sucked! It should have been between Uli and the pregnant chick.

I WAS SO HAPPY THAT JEFFERY WON.AFTER ALL THE PERSONAL PROBLEM 'S THAT HE CONQUERED AND SURVIVED HE SURELY DESERVED TO WIN.CONGRATULATION'S JEFFERY FOR A JOB WELL DONE.

Over the long haul, Michael and Laura were the two strongest designers, by far, week in and week out. Jeffrey was consistently willing to demonstrate a courageous 'fashion forward' philosophy, while Uli clearly delivered a surprisingly strong collection for fashion week. In a nutshell, despite the final result, if these four play their cards right...there are no losers.
