My Amazing Price Is Right Shirt

This picture tells lies--I'm really so much more excited about going to the Price Is Right next week than I look. (It was early this morning, I had damp hair, leave me alone!) Just cover up the face and focus on the shirt: the amazing, specially made shirt that's going to get me behind Contestants Row.
After a little research on custom tee-ing, I chose this great little Avenue A shop, TeesDotCom, to get it made. It's a while-you-wait operation, with a solid selection of styles (ringer, solid, burn-out), colors (bold greens, faded reds, etc.) and fonts (including fuzzy and neon pink). The store had a much better selection than, say, the more touristy, less indie T-Gallery on Macdougal, which offers only red, white and black shirts and two fonts, big and little (compare the options online: here and here). TeesDotCom charges between $12 and $16 for the shirt, and then each letter costs $1. Or you can email a jpeg to the nice-n-sweet owner and she'll transfer it onto a shirt for a flat $10.
The custom tee makes a great gift--just watch out about spending more than you bargained for. The shop stocks a ton of cool tees, undies and bags that you might just end up springing for, too. Wish me luck!
