I was in high school when ska broke out. I had Skankin' Pickle in my portable CD player and a poster of Gwen Stefani on my wall.

Since then, Stefani has become a one-woman industry, turning out solo hits and celeb collaborations like clockwork. Despite the sorry record of celebrity fashion lines, Stefani's line L.A.M.B. is actually quite good.

The show was filled with music industry celebs--Eve, P. Diddy and Mr. Stefani were all sitting near each other, with Stefani's baby son Kingston wearing some kind of sound-blocking headphones.

The collection gradually changed from ska-inspired schoolgirl (argyle prints, knee-high socks and wool blazers) to ska-inspired, black-and-white nightclub gear (two-toned leopard prints and shift dresses).

It's fantastic to see a celebrity stay true to her musical roots and original sense of style instead of just jumping on a new trend and stamping her name on the label.

You can find L.A.M.B. at Atrium, Big Drop, Shop and Dernier Cri.

Side note: The show used a roving spotlight system to light its models, meaning I found it hard to take any good pictures. Check out Style.com for photos of the entire collection.
