According to our tipster, opening night at Le Royale on Friday was a hands-down success. Says our witness:
I went there on Friday was amazing party, best party in years. Really cool friendly people, and best music I've heard in a long time ... Oh, and saw the supermodel Kate Moss there kissing the DJ.
Which DJ? Probably Jamie "Hotel" Hince, better known as half of Brit rockers The Kills, with whom she's been linked in her post-Pete Doherty days. Perhaps nightlife at 21 Seventh Avenue South is not dead after all.
