Interns: They Right Real Good
Posted at 12:58:06 PM in Music, PR blundersby Justine Goodman
I just received the following email from an intern at a popular New York PR firm, which will remain anonymous since I like the contact and the company. Word for word, this is what it said:
Dear Justine,
my name is ----- I'm working as inter for ----- Management Consuting company in New York City.----- one of our artist he going to have a concert at ----- Friday 21 2007.We would like to remaind you for a possible article on your newspaper.I will attach also a Biography of -----.Hope hear from you.Thank you.Best regards. Please for any questions feel free to ask. Send a E-mail to -----
Aside from the numerous typos and horrifying sentence structure, it turns out that I don't work at a newspaper, and, if I did, I'm not sure how I would write an article "on" said newspaper. I also find "Friday 21 2007" rather mysterious.
